How Jobortunity changed my life

Hallo, I hope your fine. To me I am good, my development in JOBORTUNITY is good now I am in practical training. In practical training I learn about Hotel in Kitchen department I will go to finish 1 of September. Also in Jobortunity  I learned many things for example  HI5 to be positive and professional attitude, to have a direction  in life, to stand out  and be proud and to be loyal and a team player, take little  and smart steps. This things are very important  in hospitality industry and also in society. My future plan is to be in tourism industry like tour operator and if God wishes I wish to have my own tour company. I would like to say thank you for your support and helping us and may God continue to give you more blessing to be able to still help us to reach our goals.

Violet Kaaya

I would like to say thank you so much for your support and help you did in Jobortunity. In Jobortunity I got a good knowledge about how to deal with hospitality industry. I started my field in 1st July 2010 at Kigongoni lodge, I continued well with my practical until 1st October 2010. Now they have given me a job as a waitress. I am very happy with that. Through my time in Jobortunity I learned many things like to be loyal, to have good team work, to be cooperative with others, to be on time and especially to be HI 5! I love Jobortunity because first it has helped me many thing that can help me anywhere, and how to solve problems. The most important thing is that Jobortunity has helped all the students to get a good environment and also they made all the students to have a good job to be professional in hospitality. My future plan is to do my work in hospitality industry and to go back to school (after collecting enough money) to study in order to achieve my goals, if God wishes.

Shani Yusuphu

I am Shani Yusuph, student of Jobortunity Institute. I started the college around November 2009. We completed already phase one and two which phase one is knowledge and two is attitude which is heart so am now completing the phase three which is skills. I Am doing my practical training at Chinese Everest Inn. And I’m going to finish on 15th of October 2010 and starting finding a job. Jackson William

After learning in Jobortunity 6 months I have already enter my practical in Il Boru Safari Lodge for three months, while been there I got the opportunity to work in the kitchen. Thanks to my good training which I got in Jobortunity I finally got a job as a cook in Il Boru Safari Lodge. The thing which I learned in Jobortunity is all about hospitality industry and more about hygiene and the importance of practicing it in different areas. The owner of the lodge is Dutch so I know how to make ‘bitterballen’! My future plan is that I am willing to learn more about tourism and to be the best tour guide in the country! As a way to improve the finance of the country and the well being of Jobortunity.

The things which makes my work difficult is my home place being far from where I work and that cost me high bus fair, because I have to take two buses. And according to my responsibility I am suppose to stay near my work place in order to make my work easier. Yours sincerely, Jackson William.
